Tournament Books Screen

All tournament income is recorded separate from regular game (non-tournament) income. Individual game income and number of starts (games played) is recorded as well as total gross income. Recording individual game income allows the operator to track a tournament game's popularity and adjust accordingly for future tournaments.

In addition to the individual game income, the "BOOKS" screen records the following information:

GROSS INCOME: Total income played on tournament games.

NET INCOME: Tournament gross income less "CLAIMED" and "UNCLAIMED" awards.

CLAIMED: Cash (or points) paid to players. Income is recorded in this column after the successful completion of the "prize verification" routine described previously.

UNCLAIMED: Total tournament cash (or points) won by players, but not yet awarded. At the completion of a tournament the top three (3)-scoring players are recorded on the "Past Winners" list, along with the amount of the award. All awards (cash or points) listed on the "Past Winners" screen are immediately recorded to the "Unclaimed" category until such time as the players are verified and awarded their prize. After the verification and award procedure is completed, the income is recorded in the "Claimed" category.

IV. RESET

Touch "RESET" to clear all tournament information. To perform this function, follow the step-by-step instructions listed below.

STEP 1 - Touch "RESET". Once touched you will see, "ARE YOU SURE"?

STEP 2 - Touch "YES" or "NO" as desired.

Note: Once "YES" is touched all tournament information will be erased and all players on the tournament "Hi-Score" list will immediately be entered on the "Past Winners" list. "Resetting" an active tournament produces the same results as if the tournament completed as programmed.
